Description

"Everyone can take small steps, and together we will get further."

Heleen Eshuis physically started the Bosnodig location in 2021. She thinks it is important to involve children in the climate and climate change, after all, they are the future. The wonder of nature is central to her lessons. The feeling of being part of a larger whole. Children are forest ambassadors at Bosnodig.

Regenerative agroforestry is a win-win solution for carbon storage. Through agroforestry, carbon is quickly stored in biomass and soil. Bosnodig’s regenerated soil produces organic, nutritious food and increases biodiversity above and below ground. Furthermore, regenerative agroforestry creates water, retains water in the soil, prevents erosion and regenerates the soil. This project is an ideal tool to achieve the net zero emissions targets and the European Green Deal.

Bosnodig shows what we seem to have forgotten: the forest as a source of life. It is a social, educational and recreational natural place, but also a source of food, inspiration and connection.

What makes the location unique is that the land is protected and will be passed on to the next generation for the next 400 years. In this way, we can ensure long-term carbon storage in our project and a source of life for future generations.

Bosnodig is a special project with sustainable and social goals. By purchasing our carbon credits, we can scale and continue this work.
